Our story began in London in 2006. I'm Rocío, originally from Seville, and at the time I was living in London. Marcus had been living in Lanzarote, where he spent years sailing and developed his lifelong love of the sea.
He's a passionate sailor and has been a member of our local RNLI crew for seventeen years. Spain and England have been part of our family story ever since, and we now live in Brighton with our two boys.
We bring different skills to MoRoJa. I look after the bookings, guest communication, cleaning teams and all the little details behind every stay — I'm also a Spanish teacher in the UK. Marcus is a builder and carpenter, bringing our ideas to life through his craftsmanship and looking after renovations and maintenance.
Our collection began with homes that we bought, lived in and lovingly renovated as a family. We are now working with a carefully selected small number of other owners, personally managing their properties with the same care and attention to detail that we give our own. Every decision is made with our guests in mind, and we hope you feel that warmth from the moment you arrive.
